Bangladesh, Sept. 9 -- On the morning of September 9, 2026, a routine field firing exercise at the Hathazari range in Chattogram turned fatal. A T 59 tanks gun malfunctioned during live shelling, killing two Bangladesh Army soldiers and critically injuring an officer. The army has not named the tank involved, but the answer is almost certainly Chinese.Virtually every tank in Bangladeshs fleet the Type 59G Durjoy, Type 69-IIG, MBT-2000 and VT-5 is built in China.
