Bangladesh, May 8 -- Belarus has emerged as one of Russias most important military-industrial lifelines as Moscow struggles to sustain its war effort in Ukraine under sweeping Western sanctions. Newly examined trade data shows that Belarusian companies dramatically increased shipments of military-related hardware and components to Russian defense manufacturers between 2022 and 2025, while nearly half of the identified suppliers continue operating without Western sanctions.
