Bangladesh, May 14 -- The “Africa Forward” summit held in Nairobi on May 11–12, 2026 was designed to symbolize a turning point in relations between France and the African continent. Standing before African presidents, entrepreneurs, investors, civil society representatives, and diplomats, Emmanuel Macron attempted to deliver a carefully calibrated message: France had changed.
