Auspicious Pangtoed Chaam 2026 to Be Held at Tsuklakhang Palace on August 28
Gangtok, Aug. 22 -- The sacred and spectacular Pangtoed Chaam is set to be performed at the historic Tsuklakhang Palace in Gangtok on August 28, 2026, as part of the auspicious Pang Lhabsol celebrations.
The programme is scheduled to begin from 9:00 AM onwards, offering people an opportunity to witness one of Sikkim's most distinctive religious and cultural traditions.
Pang Lhabsol holds a special place in Sikkim's cultural heritage. The festival is dedicated to Mount Khangchendzonga, which is revered as the guardian deity of Sikkim, and reflects the deep spiritual relationship between the people of the state and the sacred mountain.
