India, March 10 -- Cashify, an Indian recommerce platform, has released new insights to mark International Women's Day, highlighting a rise in women's participation on its platform. According to the data, more than 4.1 million women users engaged with the platform between August and February, representing a 17 per cent year-on-year increase compared with 3.5 million women users during the same period last year. In comparison, male user growth during the same period stood at 9 per cent, indicating that women are adopting recommerce services at nearly twice the rate.
The findings point to a shift in user behaviour, with women increasingly participating in higher-value transactions and premium smartphone resale cycles.
