India, Aug. 31 -- Vodafone Idea (Vi) has extended its run of monthly subscriber additions, with the operator gaining 240,114 wireless users in July 2026, according to the latest data from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). The addition took Vi's wireless subscriber base to 199.06 million at the end of July.

More significant than the July figure itself is the consistency of the trend. Vi has now recorded net wireless subscriber additions in every month since February, making July the sixth consecutive month in which its customer base has grown. This is a notable shift for an operator that has spent years dealing with subscriber losses and financial constraints.
