India, Aug. 2 -- Vodafone Idea has received separate regulatory actions from India's telecom department and telecom regulator, including a notice seeking liquidated damages of Rs 26.83 crore and an order imposing a financial disincentive of Rs 6.3 lakh, according to the company's stock exchange filings.

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has issued a notice asking the telecom operator to pay liquidated damages of Rs 26.83 crore for an alleged failure to meet minimum network rollout obligations linked to spectrum allocated under the 2022 spectrum auction, Vodafone Idea said in a filing dated 1 August.
