India, June 2 -- VIAVI Solutions has introduced the PNT GDO-1000, a new Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS)-disciplined oscillator designed in an M.2 B-key form factor for applications requiring accurate timing in compact and power-constrained environments.

Measuring 22mm x 42mm - roughly the size of a postage stamp, and weighing under four grams, the module is intended for use in defence and airborne platforms, unmanned systems, communications equipment, embedded systems, and data centre cards where conventional timing modules may be too large or consume excessive power.
