India, Sept. 25 -- Viavi Solutions' Aerospace and Defense division, Viavi Solutions LLC, has completed its Level 2 Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) for its radio test, avionics, synthetic and modular, and Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT) product lines.

The assessment was conducted by C3PAO A-LIGN, a third-party assessment organisation authorised to conduct CMMC assessments.

CMMC was established by the US Department of Defense (DoD) to strengthen cybersecurity protections for the Defence Industrial Base (DIB). The framework sets requirements for organisations handling Federal Contract Information (FCI) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) as part of DoD contracts.
