India, July 8 -- Indian telecom operator Vodafone Idea has expanded its 5G network in Rajasthan by launching services in 11 additional cities, extending coverage beyond Jaipur as part of its phased rollout strategy in the state.

The newly covered locations include Kota, Sikar, Bhiwadi, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Sri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Kishangarh, Jhunjhunu and Ajmer.

According to the company, the expansion focuses on locations with high data consumption, economic activity and growing demand for mobile broadband services.

Vodafone Idea said the latest phase of deployment includes cities that serve as important educational, industrial, commercial and tourism hubs within Rajasthan.
