India, March 30 -- Telecom operator Vodafone Idea (Vi) has announced the expansion of its 5G services, with plans to roll out the network in 90 additional cities by May 2026. This will increase Vi's 5G footprint from 43 cities across 17 priority circles to 133 cities nationwide, strengthening its presence in key data markets across India.
As part of this phase, Vi will expand its 5G coverage across 15 circles, including Mumbai, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh (East and West), Kolkata and West Bengal.
