TRAI proposes amendments to telecom quality of service rules
India, Aug. 5 -- The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has released a consultation paper proposing amendments to the telecom regulator's existing quality of service (QoS) framework for wireline, wireless and broadband services.
The consultation paper proposes the first amendments to the Standards of Quality of Service of Access (Wireline and Wireless) and Broadband (Wireline and Wireless) Service Regulations, 2024, following their implementation. TRAI is seeking written comments from stakeholders on the proposed amendments, with counter-comments to follow.
