India, Aug. 26 -- The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has extended the deadlines for stakeholder comments and counter-comments on proposed changes to its telecom quality-of-service rules, giving operators and industry groups more time to respond to measures covering network outages, 5G network slicing, broadband speeds, and mobile coverage maps.

Comments on the draft amendments can now be submitted until 2 September, with counter-comments due by 15 September, extending the earlier deadlines of 26 August and 7 September, respectively. TRAI said the extension followed requests from industry associations and other stakeholders.
