India, April 30 -- Telef and Espa a provider of private 5G mobile network services, has signed a collaboration agreement with Sateliot, a company specialising in 5G non-terrestrial network (NTN) IoT satellite communications, to explore the use of 5G New Radio (NR) technology in space-based applications. The initiative is intended to extend connectivity to remote, maritime and underserved areas, while supporting critical services in security and defence contexts.
