Satellite communication shifts towards multi-orbit networks
India, Sept. 14 -- India has reached an important point in its digital journey. With more than a billion broadband users and digital public infrastructure operating at population scale, expectations around network reliability and reach have fundamentally shifted. The challenge is increasingly not only to extend connectivity, but to maintain it across different geographies and operating conditions.
The country's diverse geography, however, makes this difficult. From the high Himalayas to vast maritime boundaries, terrestrial fibre and towers face structural and economic constraints in areas where deployment is impractical or commercially unviable.
