Sateliot expands 5G NTN IoT network with five new satellites
India, Oct. 2 -- European satellite telecommunications operator Sateliot has launched five satellites for its 5G non-terrestrial network (NTN) Internet of Things (IoT) constellation, increasing the frequency of satellite passes and connectivity opportunities in areas without terrestrial mobile coverage.
The mission, named Draconis, takes Sateliot's total number of satellites launched to 11.The company said the latest deployment marks a further step towards the commercial rollout of its standards-based 5G NTN IoT network.
