India, April 7 -- Praruh Technologies, a BSE-listed ICT and system integration company, has secured a contract from RailTel Corporation of India to implement an optical networking project aimed at strengthening RailTel's nationwide telecom infrastructure.

The project, titled "Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of MDWDM System, including integration with the existing network of RailTel", will involve deployment across 286 locations in India. The total contract value is approximately Rs 38.98 crore.
