Oracle cloud business accelerates on rising AI infrastructure demand
India, Sept. 11 -- Oracle's cloud infrastructure business delivered triple-digit revenue growth in the first quarter of fiscal 2027, as demand for AI computing capacity continued to drive the company's shift towards cloud infrastructure.
Cloud Infrastructure (IaaS) revenue rose 121% year on year to USD 7.4 billion in the quarter ended 31 August 2026, highlighting the pace at which Oracle is converting growing demand for AI infrastructure into cloud revenue.
The performance also accelerated Oracle's broader cloud business. Total cloud revenue, which includes infrastructure and cloud applications, increased 62% to USD 11.6 billion. Cloud Applications revenue grew 10% to USD 4.2 billion.
