India, March 17 -- NXP Semiconductors has announced a new set of robotics solutions designed to support secure, real-time data processing, transport and advanced networking. The systems are intended to enable sensor fusion, machine vision and precision motor control in next-generation robots.

The solutions, developed in collaboration with NVIDIA, are the first in a planned series of robotics platforms from NXP. They incorporate the NVIDIA Holoscan Sensor Bridge alongside NXP's integrated system-on-chip (SoC) technology. This approach reduces the number of discrete components, lowering system footprint, power consumption and cost, while also simplifying the software required for robotic sensing and actuation, including in humanoid systems...
