India, Aug. 26 -- Nvidia has announced Jetson Orin Nano 2, an entry-level robotics computer that doubles inference performance over its predecessor, targeting robots, drones, and vision artificial intelligence (AI) systems that need to process AI workloads locally.

The new module delivers 78 trillion operations per second (TOPS) of AI compute, with 8 GB of memory and an eight-core Arm central processing unit (CPU), Nvidia said. It retains the compact form factor of Jetson Orin Nano Super and, in a 15-watt operating mode, consumes 40% less power while delivering the same performance as its predecessor.
