India, May 18 -- NTT DATA has announced a definitive agreement to acquire WinWire, a Microsoft-focused technology services company specialising in agentic AI, AI on Azure, data engineering and cloud-native development. The acquisition is intended to strengthen NTT DATA's enterprise AI capabilities as organisations increasingly move from AI experimentation to large-scale deployment.

The deal comes as demand for AI-led digital transformation continues to grow, particularly around cloud-native infrastructure, enterprise automation and data-driven applications.
