India, April 15 -- Netskope has introduced a management plane in India, located in Mumbai, as part of efforts to support organisations navigating evolving data protection and compliance requirements. The deployment builds on the company's existing NewEdge Network infrastructure, which includes eight data centres across the country.
The move is aimed at helping organisations using the Netskope One platform meet local data residency and sovereignty requirements under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), as well as sector-specific regulations such as those set by the Reserve Bank of India and the Securities and Exchange Board of India.
