NASA seeks ISRO participation in lunar base programme
India, Aug. 14 -- NASA has invited the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) to participate in its Moon Base programme, opening a new area of cooperation between India and the United States in lunar exploration, science and human spaceflight.
The invitation was extended during the ninth meeting of the India-US Civil Space Joint Working Group, held at ISRO headquarters in Bengaluru on 5-6 August. The development was disclosed by the US Embassy and Consulates in India following the meeting.
