Mesh Wi-Fi vs extenders: Rethinking the connected home network
India, Sept. 5 -- Walk into any Indian home today, and the reliance on Wi-Fi is immediately clear. It powers office calls, virtual lessons, streaming, payments, and a seemingly endless queue of connected devices. But dead spots remain a common irritant. Many families use extenders, which amplify a router's signal, but these are often targeted solutions rather than long-term fixes for broader coverage issues.
Mesh systems, however, are designed to deliver consistent Wi-Fi throughout the home. They can cover up to 1,200+ square feet at consistent speeds, support up to 200 devices in higher-end models, and be expanded as needed. Extenders, by contrast, are better suited to targeting individual dead zones.
