India, May 12 -- L&T Semiconductor Technologies (LTSCT), the fabless semiconductor subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro, has announced a multi-year licensing agreement with Synopsys aimed at strengthening its advanced power electronics design capabilities and supporting the growth of India's semiconductor ecosystem.

Under the agreement, LTSCT will adopt Synopsys' simulation software to accelerate AI-enabled design and optimisation of next-generation power modules and intelligent power modules (IPMs). The collaboration is expected to improve design efficiency, enhance reliability and shorten development cycles by integrating simulation, physics-based modelling and data intelligence throughout the design workflow.
