India, July 20 -- Jio Platforms began FY27 on a strong note, reporting higher revenue and profit in the April-June quarter as tariff revisions, continued 5G adoption and growing digital services lifted earnings. The company posted a 9.2% year-on-year increase in net profit, while average revenue per user (ARPU) continued its upward trajectory.

Jio Platforms reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 7,764 crore for the first quarter of FY27, compared with Rs 7,110 crore in the corresponding period last year. Consolidated revenue from operations rose 11.8% year-on-year to Rs 45,961 crore, reflecting sustained growth across its connectivity and digital services businesses.
