India, July 10 -- Global cloud communications platform Infobip has announced the acquisition of SocketLabs, a US-based company specialising in infrastructure for high-volume, multi-provider email delivery.

The acquisition expands Infobip's presence in the email infrastructure and deliverability market by adding capabilities aimed at helping enterprises and independent software vendors (ISVs) manage, monitor and optimise email delivery at scale.

According to Infobip, SocketLabs' technology is designed to provide greater visibility across multiple email service providers, improve insight into inbox delivery rates and support migration between email platforms with lower operational risk.
