India, July 18 -- The successful orbital launch of Skyroot Aerospace's Vikram-1 under Mission Aagaman has drawn widespread praise from industry leaders, who described the mission as a landmark achievement for India's rapidly expanding private space ecosystem.

Congratulating the company on completing the country's first fully private orbital launch, Lt Gen AK Bhatt (Retd), Director General of the Indian Space Association (ISpA), said the mission marked a defining moment in India's space journey and demonstrated that the domestic private sector is now capable of executing end-to-end space missions.
