India, Aug. 16 -- The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) in India will host a five-day series of BRICS meetings on information and communication technologies (ICT) in Pune from 17 to 21 August, bringing together ministers, senior government officials, and ICT experts to discuss digital connectivity, cybersecurity, skills, and emerging technologies.

The BRICS ICT Track is being organised as part of India's BRICS Chairship for 2026 under the theme "Innovate, Cooperate and Transform (ICT) for a Resilient Future", according to the DoT.

The meetings will be attended by representatives from the 11 BRICS members: Brazil, China, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Iran, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and the United Arab Emirates.
