India, April 28 -- Hiring activity in India's telecom sector is showing a modest recovery, according to the latest Employment Outlook Report by TeamLease Services. The report indicates that the Net Employment Change (NEC) has risen to 3.0% for the first half of FY2026-27, compared with 1.9% in the previous half-year, suggesting a cautious but improving hiring outlook.

The findings are based on a survey of 1,268 employers across 23 industries and 20 cities, conducted between November 2025 and January 2026. Around 48% of employers expect to increase hiring, while 31% foresee no change.
