India, April 8 -- 8B, a Central Asian fintech infrastructure company, and PayU, an India-based diversified fintech platform, have entered into a strategic partnership to introduce Unified Payments Interface (UPI) and other Indian payment methods across Central Asia. By integrating PayU's APIs into 8B's merchant network in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, the partnership will enable users in India to pay merchants in the region through UPI, net banking and local cards. The arrangement represents an initial step towards strengthening digital payment infrastructure between the two regions and supporting growing trade and tourism links.
