India, June 18 -- The International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector investment arm of the World Bank Group, has announced a financing package of up to USD 371 million to support the expansion of data centre infrastructure by Sify Infinit Spaces Limited (SISL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Sify Technologies.

The investment will support the development of two new data centres in Navi Mumbai and Chennai with a combined capacity of 103 MW. The facilities are being designed to support artificial intelligence (AI) workloads and growing demand for cloud computing services while incorporating energy-efficient technologies.
