India, Sept. 30 -- IBM and Yotta Data Services have announced the general availability of a sovereign agentic AI platform aimed at Indian organisations, combining IBM's enterprise AI software with Yotta's India-based AI cloud infrastructure.

The platform brings together IBM watsonx Orchestrate and Yotta's Shakti Cloud and Shakti Studio, with the companies positioning the offering around data residency, AI inference, infrastructure control and governance within India. The development comes as enterprises move AI workloads from experimentation towards production and face growing requirements around security, compliance and operational control.
