IBM, Sarvam partner to develop sovereign AI for government use
India, Aug. 4 -- IBM and Indian AI company Sarvam have entered into a partnership to develop and test sovereign artificial intelligence technologies for government agencies and regulated sectors in India.
The collaboration will focus on AI systems that allow organisations to retain greater control over data, governance and operations while supporting public-sector applications. The companies said the initiative is intended to address use cases where data security, regulatory compliance and local control are critical.
