India, Sept. 3 -- Oracle is expanding its use of HPE Juniper Networking as it scales its global AI infrastructure, with the companies entering a multi-year agreement covering routing, switching and networking support across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) data centres.

The expanded collaboration comes as the rapid growth of large AI clusters puts greater pressure on data centre networks. High-density GPU deployments require higher bandwidth, lower latency and tighter control of congestion, while network failures can directly affect the utilisation of expensive compute infrastructure.
