HFCL strengthens export pipeline with Rs 2,329 Crore OFC deal
India, Sept. 1 -- Indian telecom equipment manufacturer HFCL has secured an export contract worth approximately USD 244 million (Rs 2,329 crore) from a global multinational corporation for the supply of high-fibre-count optical fibre cables.
The agreement, disclosed by HFCL in a regulatory filing on 1 September 2026, will run for three years through December 2029. Supplies are scheduled to begin in calendar year 2027 and will be made through HFCL's overseas wholly owned subsidiary. The customer has not been identified.
Under the agreement, HFCL will supply multi-million fibre-kilometres of high-fibre-count OFC during each calendar year from 2027 to 2029. The cables will be manufactured to the customer's specifications.
