India, Sept. 8 -- HCLTech has opened an Advanced Semiconductor Lab in Bengaluru with an investment of Rs 185 crore, adding specialised infrastructure for chip testing, electrical validation, qualification and failure analysis.

The 40,000 sq ft facility includes 25,000 sq ft of Class 10K and Class 1K cleanrooms. It is designed to support post-silicon engineering, automated testing, pre-production evaluation and production qualification for semiconductor products.

The lab will serve domestic and international customers across research and development, pre-production and production activities.
