India, June 12 -- Ericsson has introduced a new software offering, AI in RAN, aimed at integrating artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities into radio access networks (RAN) to improve network performance, automation, and energy efficiency.

The software subscription is designed to support communications service providers (CSPs) as demand for AI-driven services increases, allowing operators to introduce AI capabilities into existing 5G infrastructure without requiring additional hardware upgrades.
