India, March 10 -- Alstom has joined the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) in marking the commencement of revenue services on extensions of the Delhi Metro Pink Line (Line 7) and the Delhi Metro Magenta Line (Line 8). The new sections include the Majlis Park-Maujpur extension on the Pink Line and the Majlis Park-Deepali Chowk section on the Magenta Line, which is expected to be extended further to RK Ashram and Janakpuri in the future.

The expansion is expected to improve connectivity across the National Capital Territory by linking several key interchanges in the metro network.
