India, April 28 -- Google has begun construction of an artificial intelligence (AI) hub in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, in partnership with AdaniConneX and Nxtra by Airtel. The project is part of the company's planned investment in India's digital infrastructure.

The ceremony took place on 28 April 2026 at Tarluvada, with the participation of government officials and industry representatives. Those present included Ashwini Vaishnaw, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, and state IT minister Nara Lokesh, along with executives from partner organisations.
