India, June 17 -- CtrlS Datacenters has entered into a strategic partnership with Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments), securing funding of up to INR 7,000 crore (approximately USD 1 billion) to support the expansion of data centre infrastructure across India.

The agreement comes at a time when demand for digital infrastructure is accelerating, driven by the growth of cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI) workloads, data localisation requirements and the continued digitalisation of businesses and public services.
