India, April 28 -- Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, the state-run telecom operator, continues to face challenges in keeping pace with private sector rivals despite sustained government support and tariff advantages. Even with relief packages and relatively lower pricing, the company has struggled to match the scale and financial performance of competitors.
The operator has, however, made measurable progress on the network front. It has rolled out close to one lakh 4G sites, the majority of which have already been commissioned. This expansion marks a significant step in strengthening its service capabilities and improving customer experience, areas where it has historically lagged behind private operators.
