India, April 17 -- Amazon Web Services (AWS) is reportedly planning a significant expansion of its data centre footprint in India, with a new campus proposed near Taloja in Navi Mumbai. The project, according to reports, is estimated at around USD 430 million and highlights the continued growth in demand for cloud infrastructure in the country.

According to reports, AWS has submitted an application to the State Environmental Impact Assessment Authority seeking approval for the development. The proposed campus is expected to be built on a 49-acre site and include six buildings.
