India, Sept. 24 -- Avantel has received a firm purchase order worth Rs 177.35 crore from Zetwerk Manufacturing Businesses Limited for the supply of satellite communication equipment, with the systems intended for the Real-Time Train Information System (RTIS) deployed by Indian Railways.

The purchase order, dated 22 September 2026, follows a rate contract awarded by Zetwerk to Avantel in March. The latest order is scheduled to be executed by March 2027 and includes a one-year comprehensive onsite warranty.
