Australia-India PACTS targets resilient digital infrastructure
India, July 9 -- India and Australia have launched a new strategic framework to strengthen cooperation on trusted digital infrastructure, resilient technology supply chains, subsea cable security and telecommunications as the two countries seek to reduce emerging risks across the Indo-Pacific.
The Australia-India Partnership on Cyber, Critical Technologies and Supply Chains (PACTS) will bring digital infrastructure, critical technologies, cybersecurity and supply chain resilience under a unified bilateral framework. It replaces the 2020 Framework Arrangement on Cyber and Cyber-Enabled Critical Technology Cooperation.
