India, July 29 -- Arattai, the instant messaging and VoIP calling app developed by Zoho Corporation, has introduced an optional Aadhaar-enabled identity verification feature aimed at reducing identity spoofing and digital impersonation on its platform.

The new verification layer allows users to confirm their identity using the Aadhaar app while retaining control over whether they choose to participate. According to the company, the feature has been designed to improve trust between users without requiring Aadhaar verification for all accounts.
