Airtel Q1 FY27: Postpaid base reaches 30 million, ARPU rises
India, Aug. 4 -- Bharti Airtel recorded its highest-ever quarterly addition of postpaid customers in the first quarter of FY27, adding 1 million users as its mobile average revenue per user (ARPU) rose to Rs 264.
The company reported its Q1 FY27 results on August 4, showing that mobile ARPU increased from Rs 250 in the same quarter last year. India mobile revenue grew 9.2% year-on-year (YoY), supported by customer additions and higher revenue per user.
The company said the improvement was partly driven by a shift towards higher-value customer segments and continued growth in its smartphone data base.
