Hanoi, March 2 -- The Viettel Military Industry and Telecoms Group (Viettel) is showcasing its 5G and artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona 2026, remaining the only Vietnamese representative at the world's largest mobile industry event.

Taking place from March 2-5 in Barcelona, Spain, MWC 2026 brings together giant tech firms and innovators from more than 200 countries and territories. This marks the ninth time Viettel has participated in the event, reaffirming Vietnam's growing technological capabilities and its proactive role in the global digital landscape, said Lieutenant General Cao Duc Thang, Chairman and General Director of Viettel.
