Buenos Aires, July 8 -- The Vietnamese Embassy in Argentina, in coordination with the Argentina - Vietnam Culture Institute (ICAV), held a memorial ceremony on July 7 for Poldi Sosa Schmidt, the institute's founder and president who passed away in June, in recognition of her lifelong contributions to fostering solidarity and friendship between the two peoples. The ceremony took place at the embassy headquarters in Buenos Aires and was attended by members of the bereaved family, ICAV leaders and members, Argentine scholars and friends, and the embassy's staff.
