Vietnam witnesses surge in Singapore investment inflows
Hanoi, Aug. 25 -- Alongside growing strategic trust between the two countries, Singaporean investment in Vietnam has surged in recent years, giving the city state the first place among 69 countries and territories investing in Vietnam in the first seven months of 2026 with 7.5 billion USD, accounting for 35.6% of total registered investment. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, more than five decades since establishing diplomatic relations in 1973, Vietnam and Singapore have developed increasingly trusted political ties, closely aligned interests and dynamic cooperation.
